Wild Currant Bungalow is a charming, nearly new, 1,400 square foot vacation home in a neighborhood of similar homes near Eastsound on Orcas Ialnd. It offers a great open floor plan, a well-stocked kitchen with an island and bar stools, slate counter tops,
gas cooking stove and a pine dining table, all for your convenience.
The furnishings create a "Pottery Barn" environment in this vacation rental home. There's a comfy leather sofa and chairs, gas fireplace, large, beautiful wood windows that frame a water view and French doors that open to the deck. There are maple wood floors
throughout and a vaulted ceiling with huge skylight. (Please note that the loft is a decorative accent, not a living space.)
Bedrooms are impeccably furnished with queen beds and the master bedroom opens to a patio with water views and a grassy lawn for barbequing and entertaining. Sleeping for six is provided in two bedrooms and a den is furnished with a third queen bed. The
luxurious baths have slate counters and floors. All the comforts of home are thoughtfully provided including Direct TV, movies, books, plush towels and linens, outdoor seating, and a BBQ.
The quaint village of Eastsound and its fine restaurants and waterfront park are within walking distance. If you are the lucky one to be here on July 4th, you'll have a front row seat and filtered view of the Eastsound fireworks display.
Satellite TV and WIFI are not available during the Quiet Season.
