Orcas Island San Juan Island Lopez IslandWhidbey Island
Recently voted one of the world’s most exciting ferry rides and Washington State’s newest Scenic Byway, your trip from Puget Sound to the San Juan Islands promises beautiful views of mountains, forests and an intimate connection to the ocean and her inhabitants. Glimpses of Orca Whales, Harbor Seals, Porpoises, and Sea Lions are not uncommon. The driving tours take you through groves of rich green cedars and moss covered rocks with eagles soaring above. Moderate temperatures and very little rain during the summer months make the islands ideal for all kinds of activities such as bird watching, boating, fishing, kayaking and hiking. There’s no place more beautiful for recreation, relaxation and rejuvenation. The three main San Juan Islands are Orcas, San Juan and Lopez.
Whidbey Island is accessible by land, sea, or air! From the north, you will drive across the spectacular Deception Pass Bridge and gain a vista of sea, mountains, and the spectacular shores of its wooded state parks. From the south, it's a short ferry ride from Mukilteo on the mainland to Clinton in South Whidbey. Mukilteo is north of Seattle, between the towns of Edmond and Everett.
Choose your piece of paradise or visit all four of these fantastic Northwest Islands.
