Thousands of visitors travel to the San Juan Islands each year, drawn by the promise of spectacular scenery, a tangible connection with nature, and charming rural communities.

Few are disappointed. The air is pure and fresh. Deer and fox share hiking trails through golden meadows and old-growth forests. Bald eagles and blue herons abound in unpolluted skies. The surrounding waterways are vibrant and alive with kelp, otters, dolphins, seals, and three resident pods of Orca Whales.

Residents and visitors alike have committed to maintain this rare pristine environment. Thousands of acres have been preserved in parklands for public enjoyment and 1% of all real estate sold is dedicated to preserve wetlands, scenic corridors, and undeveloped tracts in perpetuity.

Compact florescent bulbs for lighting when fixtures are compatible.
100% natural, biodegradable, scent free products for cleaning as well as baking soda, vinegar, and pumice stones.
Paper products that are recycled, biodegradable, unbleached, scent and dye free, and packaged in paper.
Refillable water bottles and canvas shopping bags.
